The Begining Of Versace

Gianni Versace was born December 2, 1946 in Southern Italy. He was the son of a sales man and a clothing designer. As a child Versace took poetry and it produced a keen intersest in fashion design. At the age of 18 he joined his mothers work shop and assisted in doing drawings and procurement and dressmaking. At the age 25 Gianni was creating Pret-a-porter collections for top fashion houses in that time period, which was Genny, Coplice and Callaghan. In 1978 Gianni Versace Company was founded with the help of his brother Santo.

Versace on the Runway

Check out how Versace rips the runway in the Pre Fall 2010 fashion show!!!! In his pre fall collection Versace had a lot of platform pumps that had a rounded toe, and he also use lace ups. The shoe color only ran in black, navy, electric blue, and red, or a combo of three. Versace also used lots of graphic prints and snake skins for the hand bag designs.
